It is the intention of the Board of Governors of the Club to limit these rules and regulations to the minimum required for mutual enjoyment of the Club by all Members and their guests. The obligation to monitor these rules is placed primarily in the hands of a carefully selected and trained staff whose principal responsibility is to assure you all the courtesies, comforts and services to which you as a Member of a private club are entitled.

Dress Codes

Monday to Friday

SMART CASUAL
NO sport shirts, t-shirts, golf shirt, rubber shoes, slippers, tongs, sneakers, sandal and duster.

Saturday

CASUAL
Jeans, sports shirt with collar, golf shirt, rubber shoes or sneakers with socks for men and golf shorts, but NO slippers, sandals, torn jeans, “sando” and beach tongs.

Children
Dependents accompanied by Member/s are allowed to use the Club at all times, except in the Fitness Center. Children 12 years and above, will be allowed at dinner time when accompanied by their Member parent/s. On Saturdays, children of all ages will be allowed in the Club.

Restaurant and Banquets Reservations
Reservations are recommended at all times for lunch and dinner in the main dining room. Prior reservations are required for the private dining rooms. For inquiries and reservations, Members can contact the Reception Area or Banquet Sales.

Monthly Club Dues and Food Beverage Minimum Consumable
All Members have to pay all club dues and F&B minimum consumable amount imposed by the type of Membership. The monthly Food and Beverage minimum consumable charge is non-cumulative and shall be assessed by each Member whether or not any Food and Beverage is actually consumed by the Member concerned. The monthly Food and Beverage minimum consumable charge may not be applied to any other services and/or dues or charges of the Club. Any unused portion of the Food and Beverage minimum charge shall be forfeited in favor of the Club. Monthly consumables must be consumed during the current month.

Membership Statement
A membership statement will be mailed to each member to his recorded address on a monthly basis. It contains all the charges until the closing date of the month and dues for the coming month. Each Member’s club account shall be payable on the due date stated in the monthly statement. Members are requested to keep the original copy of all bills when they sign in the dining areas. Copies of bills signed during the previous month will not be enclosed in the statement.

Late Charges
The failure to pay promptly all dues and charges is to the detriment of the Club member. Member’s club account unpaid for 30 days after the due date shall be considered delinquent and a late charge equal to two percent (2%) per month of the past due account shall be added to the Member’s next statement. If after 45 days from the due date, a member has not settled his account in full, the Club will be constrained to include the name in the Delinquency List (Club Rule 7.4). Moreover, all rights and privileges to avail of the Tower Club’s facilities shall likewise be suspended.

Cellular Phones
Use of cellular phones will be allowed in the Barons Bar, reception, lounge, gym and private dining rooms but not in the the Taipan and Continental restaurants.

Smoking
Cigarette, cigar or pipe smoking will only be allowed in the Havana Cigar Room.

Pets
Pets and animals of any kind are prohibited in any part of the Club’s premises.

Tipping policy
A no tipping policy is applied in the Club. However, during the Christmas season, Members will be assessed an amount to be recommended by Management before the end of the year.

Car Park
Parking slots are available in the Philamlife Tower, FOR MEMBERS AND SPOUSES WHO ARE DINING IN ONLY IN THE CLUB RESTAURANTS. Please request for a complimentary pass from the Restaurant Managers and have it validated at the lobby cashier. A Member’s guest shall only park within the designated parking on the 3rd until 4th upper level (parking slot from U40001 to U40048 only). Chauffeurs shall wait in the car park or at the driver’s waiting room located Basement 2 and 4th floor upper level parking. Drivers are not permitted to enter into any other part of the Club Premises. Vehicles shall not be parked in such a manner as to likely obstruct the free passage of any other vehicle while within the Club’s car park and roadways. The Club shall not be responsible for any loss or damage to the vehicles in the car park or their contents.

Private Employees
A Member, Spouse or Guest of a Member shall not bring any personal employees into any parts of the Club. Bodyguards are not allowed except the Presidential Security Group of the President of the Republic of the Philippines. Drivers and bodyguards may proceed to the Drivers Lounge at the Basement 2 or at the 4th floor upper level car park. Likewise, messengers to pick up/take out food orders, maids and yayas may use the air-conditioned waiting area equipped with paging system, television (with cable channels and wash rooms.

Staff
A Member shall not require any employee of the Club to carry a bag, basket or any other article from any part of the Premises to the Club’s car park or elsewhere, or require the staff to perform any act not within the scope of work of such employee.

A Member shall not reprimand any employee of the Club for alleged misconduct. If a Member feels that disciplinary action, either by way of warning or dismissal, should be taken against any employee of the Club, the Member concerned shall put his allegation in writing, giving full details of the behavior complained of, including the time, date and names of any witnesses to such behavior and address his complaint to the Club Manager. Any Member abusing, harassing and maltreating the staff is a serious offense and is subject to suspension.
